Nice story Ine, and so recognizable.... the sound of midges is very irritating, but worse are the bites. It seems they have a preference for a special type of blood...

Nice post. Only thing wrong with it is that in the third to last paragraph you wrote "an other". I'm pretty positive you meant to say another. Also, maybe think about taking the comma away in the second to last paragraph where it says, "Tonight I'll put oil on your skin, that keeps the bugs away." It might read more smoothly without the comma. Fun post though! Well done

Aww. Sorry that your fun camping trip was messed up by these little critters...sounds like what we call No see'ems. Those little buggers hurt...and you can't see them to keep them away! Precious little story.

I like the concept of this story (thanks for explaining it in the author notes); however, I felt it could have used a little more description about the bugs or the night or anything else. I did enjoy the easy dialogue and the ending was great!
