I like this poem very much. It seems to be a love poem for someone who is special and dependable and whose presence is especially important to the speaker. I loved the repeating line... "I wait for you" as if that loved one is on her way but not yet there. I also love the feel of patience, as well as the certainty that this rendezvous will come to pass. It is something certain. Beautifully rendered Michael. Hope there will be more soon. MM

I really love this poem it's as profound as Bruce Springsteen's song which my wife and I love. Waiting for another is a precious act of selflessness and you have captured that spirit in this poem beautifully. It's not just the message though, it's also very well written with a beautiful flow to the words and form. VERY GOOD JOB !!!!
