The literary device...enjambment..as usual adds to the poetic effect. The overall meaning has been accentuated by the music..Jenny's death song. The poetry is so vivid that I have decided to share your urls with family and friends and a few others in town. I hope they have enjoyed as much as I have enjoyed your poetry. I forgot to ask about the picture at the top. I can't decide what it is?

This is a very enjoyable and entertaining poem. The reader can relate to the sentiments expressed. The opening questions draws the reader into the poem and the imagery is carefully crafted to paint evocative images in the reader's mind. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Linda...-smile-.....thank you very much. yes mine too...I read the book first...ah very cool...it is written the way he talks...Forrest...ha...it was a first for me...to see what we hear in print.....I was attracted immiedietly....but ah the book goes off ah into real deep space ya know...he becomes an astrounut ...spelled right....and goes on a space mission with a very attractive lady astraunut spelled right...and a over sexed chimpanzee...who gets a hard on for the lady astraunut spelled right...and crashes the capusual

spelled right...and ends up in the deep amazon jungle were people eaters capture them...um...yea...but the cheif of the people eater tribe apparently went to college at Cambridge and loved great gane of chess....yea no shit....and so thats how he stayed alive until found away to escape...he just kept winning.....other those parts it was pretty close to the movie. love ya michael

Needs Improvement

This poem has a haiku feel to it. Love the fairy tale theme. I'm extremely curious as to the missing word or words hidden behind the ellipsis. That would give me a better understanding of the meaning.
