Ah, the star dust revolution has come. I don't know if it's a psychological trick or not, that outline of a dead star. I don't know if it will help. Maybe, we'll find out.
Take care,
Russell

Who knows? Maybe if someone succeeds in making a certain person laugh enough...
Thanks for stopping by :)

I'm sure you must be a public relations expert for
NASA. I say this because your star detritus spiel
was so well argued, so beautifully written. Then,
with the science put to bed, you switch our mind to
the purpose of this argument. You link the unfulfilled
elements of stars to the unfulfilled elements of FSs
rating system. It's beatifully laid out, with pleas
personifying the FS system as some kind of dominant
monster. Your call for the return of the encouragement
to the rating systems is impassioned.
Excellent prose, great idea, a terrific write.

Thank you so much for the lovely review, your encouragement is greatly appreciated. I WISH I was a PR person for NASA - wouldn't that be a job to die for?

This is a good write, I hate those red dots after the stars also, this is pretty convincing. Great write on the prompt, good luck

Thank you William for the kind words.

So, do you mean to tell me that the alien I'm holding in my basement--the one with that intergalactic, holographic map-of-the-universe thingy--he's just a figure of my imagination? And that huge, shiny, silver piece of space junk embedded about fifteen feet in the earth out in the cornfield behind my house is also imaginary?
Jeesh..who'da thunk it?
As for those one, two, three and four star ratings with the haunting outlines of what "could have been" taunting us, staring us in the face; yeah, I know all too well that those are all too real, and not just my imagination.
Good luck to you in the contest... ;}

Unfortunately, it's worse than you thought. The alien and the spaceship in the cornfield are real - you and the house are imaginary :)
Thanks for the fun review, Dean.
