A heart song in the Man's honor. He was an irresistible force
in the world of music - perhaps because he overcame
that which would stop him.
Myself, I fought this magnetism - too cool to fall under his
spell, don't you know. And yet, somehow, he wriggled his
way into my blood, that is to say, his music did.
It is a distinctly purple rain that falls as tears of our memories.
Unfortunately it's Saturday, and the best I can offer is a Five :-(

Interesting going back to his very beginning. He must have shown his
talent at a very early age but his family life was not stable. This was
well written and quite moving.

I don't really know...I heard him tell some of his story in interviews. and some others talk about their experience with him.
I just know he was a command performer...he had gift. love michael

Wow! Beautiful "ode to Prince", he will be surely missed. The words in the poem flows nicely, with a nice message. I like the picture with his favorite color, the video is a nice touch, good job with this piece.

Witness? Lovely background and font coloring in photo. Just goes to show when someone keeps you from doing something, they may be deterring you from your great destiny. Great story of Prince's life. liberty justice

An excellent tribute to the "rock star" Prince. He will long be remembered and especially for Purple Rain. And yes, I'm wearing purple today. I met my grandsons for lunch and was pleased that they knew who I was talking about. Well done.
