Loved this! I'm a great fan of Ogden Nash. I have his complete works somewhere in reach of my bedside. Your Nonet does him proud and the quotations from his works in your author notes was a bonus!
Here, as your reward, are some lines in imitation of the master:
Ally met an alligator
Tears were shed
The gator ate 'er

Hi Tony!
Good to hear from you today! I trust you are enjoying your wife's return home! See now, there is the answer to your poems for the rest of the month, Ogden Nash style! lol He is a lot of fun! I bet Ally had wished they were crocodile tears instead? ;)
Thanks for the fun comments and review!

A great Nonet Poem. I am planning to post a Nonet tomorrow, although I don't think I will use it for the challenge on NaPoWriMo.

Hi Sandra,
I believe tomorrow's will be an Ode... that's what I'm shooting for, at least :) I have a busy day ahead (after I sleep lol) It is almost 4 am. So, we'll see what I accomplish. I've already posted my two for today, so can't post again until after 8pm my time anyways :) Thanks for taking the time to read and review! I'm happy you enjoyed my Nonet for Nash!

Hi Debbie,
He's light-hearted and fun. My favorite by him so far is "The Boy Who Laughed at Santa Claus". From what I've noticed... if the word wasn't pronounced right or spelled right, you just change it to meet your rhyme lol I think we could all do that... and he was famous! lol
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment.

I love the nonet. Easy and yet challenging at the same time.
I liked the whimisical writings of him and you honored him just right.
Nicely done

Hi Barb!
Thanks for another great review. He was quite amusing. I really like his "The Boy Who Laughed at Santa Claus" poem. Overall, he's just a hoot! lol So, what if the spelling or pronunciation of a word isn't quite right, just change it lol
Thanks for taking the time to read and review.
