Hi Sandra,
I'm really lucky to have grown up here in Alaska. The Northern lights are always awe inspiring, no matter how many times you've seen them. :) Thank you for the kind review.

I love the artwork. I would love to see it in person some day. Your poem is very well written and the biographical information is interesting. I am learning a lot about these poets. Well done, my friend~Debbie

This is an amazingly well written piece of poetry. I love how the image sets the scene for th poem, and the color scheme selected is nice! I absolutely love the part about wolves-- my favorite animal! I see nothing at all that I would even remotely consider changing about this piece. I think you truly hit the nail on the head with this one! Great job, and I'm actually sharing it to Facebook (via the 'facebook share link') to show some of my friends that I think will also very much enjoy your piece.

The Frost poem is the 6th in a book I'm working on this month. You can access all of the other selections off of that poem :) It is my tribute to Poets and Poetry for National Poetry Month.

He is one of my favorite poets with his air of writing that cant be beat by any other.
You piece latterly flowed with description and praise.
Very nicely done

Outstanding [no, not in the Alaskan wilderness]s, but in its presentation: the artwork is beautiful, the color scheme super, the format pure gold, and the flow amazing. I love the original poem from which this is taken as inspiration. I know that poem well, and yours is a great 'new' version. Thanks for sharing a well written wonderful poem. Thanks for the notes. I always read author notes. I know that with yours, I will learn a great deal.

Thanks, Janny!
I was thinking about what artwork I wanted to present and decided to go with the Aurora since you had expressed an interest the other day in one of our exchanges ;) The aurora is for you. Thank you so much for this exceptional review. I appreciate your sentiment and am honored by the six shining stars.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for Frost, and you have produced a wonderful tribute to him in this. I think however, points should be deducted for cheating. You are surrounded by such wonderful scenery to provide inspiration it doesn't seem fair to the rest of us.
As far as I can tell, your rhyme is perfect and so, surprisingly, is the meter ;-) (I'm in so much trouble if someone proves that assertion wrong).
Perhaps you should contact the Alaskan Tourism board, they might be interested in this piece of shameless propaganda!
Well done Kim, it really is lovely :)

This is so well written, my dear! I so much fun to see you going for metered poetry - and you did such a good job with it (with a little credit to Craig). You wrote an absolutely breathtaking ode to your land.
The first line engages the reader right away - it's an invitation to take a trip with you in that stunning State! Both your love for it and the beauty of the place comes through amazingly! Such a great Frost-style poem!

Hi Jyoti!
You'll be so proud to know that Craig didn't actually change any of my meter lol I had him read it before I posted it just to make sure I had it right ;) And then I tossed some wording ideas on a couple of lines that I was restructuring. He's always a big help with that. He gets full credit for the word Mercury :)
I'm so happy you enjoyed my tribute to Frost. He's always been one of my absolute favorites. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

Your poem is lovely, and I appreciate the extra effort to put your iambs right :) I love Robert Frost, and appreciate hearing the history behind his inauguration participation. It's fascinating to me.

Hi Kim. This poem is just beautiful. You've expressed such a feeling of Alaska and it's outdoorsy and mysterious charm. Rhyming and form are wonderful. Marilyn
