What if somebody asks questions that make you feel uncomfortable? Hmm, maybe somebody just did. Maybe this curly girlie wants to give you the answers to some of these questions, and maybe this post will make people think about what the answer really is from their perspective. You really applied yourself to this context, Nicole. good wishes and hope you go well, Giddy

I don't have the answers, but I know who does.
The answers to life unfold one at a time as we live.
There are consequences for everything, so we should learn to think and when we are uncertain, perhaps we should pray for guidance.
Thanks for reading, Giddy.

What if's can go on forever. What if you become a vegetable with a perfectly functioning mind (my greatest fear). This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

Thanks for reading, Charlie. Most people fear their body out-living their minds.

Well you ask more than your fair share of disturbing questions. But then again, what if you get hit by a truck tomorrow? Nothing is certain, yet we act like it is. A very thought provoking piece

This is certainly interesting and imaginative. I thought about each one for a bit. Some scared me, some made me sad, some took my breath away and some I answered immediately. I love the thought it evokes and the mystery it presents.

You raise al lot of questions that could start a war on this site alone. The implication throughout questions our ability to look beyond what we have always believed to be true. Nothing is more apparent about voluntary brain washing than the RAH RAH of current elections. What if in the great scheme of things, not a thing we believe matters?
I think your essay and response to this prompt would be improved by ending with a personal; statement or even a condemnation of lazy thinking, but I love the questions.

Everything matters. There are consequences for all actions. Consequences may come late, but they will arrive.
My opinion is irrelevant; it's time to stop waiting to hear what others think. People should think for themselves. We have become so fashion-conscious that it permeates everything: clothes, hair, toys, food, transport, religion, sex, mobile phone brands and even what we say. Everyone is too afraid to buck the trend, lest we appear 'uncool' while displaying our apparent 'freedom' of speech which no longer exists unless it patronises media trendsetters. Thought control has already begun.

You think? I posted a political essay, extolling the difference between Canada and the US and one old-time member here responded, admitting she was not interested, did not finish my essay and then muted me, before she picked up a response. Puppets, idiots and fools. What hope do you have with the questions?

Tempers flare so easily! The aim of my questions is not to win this contest, but rather to make people think deeply.
