The explaination about this type of poem that was in the author's notes only served to confuse me, so I'll just say I enjoyed the poem itself...because I did. Your message but holding true to your own beliefs and not letting yourself be led astray by falsehoods rings true for this reader. Well done.

This is an excellent, Rispetto, DOT, very well composed. The rhyming, the meter and flow--everything works in conjunction together perfectly.

As for the context of the poem itself, well...Satan is an Equal Opportunity Destroyer looking to devour and destroy all those in his fiery path whom allow him to seduce them. As for believers-- those of us who remain diligent in the reading of God's Word-- it is impossible to deceive us. We put on the Armor of God daily, and Satan's barbs cannot even begin to penetrate.

Hi, Dawn. It looks like a 'welcome back' is in order. Did you use the same name when you were previously on FanStory?

Anyway, have a sixer as a little 'returning to the fold' gift.

I like your little rispetto because I'm reading it as an allegory - a political one perhaps, since that seems to be in the air at the moment. Of course it could apply to any 'great deceiver'.

Rispetto form is excellent and this may well be a contender in the contest.

Hey there, yes I did use the same name for a number of years. I really appreciate your most understanding review. It is a political one but I didn't really see a category for that, it can also be a spiritual one, it's kind of a combination as you said. Thanks for all those stars, much appreciated.
