The last line in this certainly makes an impression. Early birds have it great as they can enjoy the sunrise. Excellent alliteration with casts and cold. The lake is an excellent choice for setting as it really shows off its rays. Hazy and cold are great adjectives to describe the lake. judi

This is a well written haiku, the atmosphere and imagery within the wording is excellent. Who needs a picture when you have strong imagery?

Hi there,
I lost a ton of stuff out of my portfolio earlier this year - all pretty long stories which was a bugger. Thank good ness for back-ups!
