This was an inspiring comment on facing pressure in our lives and what it can mean dealing with it. It was a good length and the references to scripture were enlightening. Thanks for sharing at this Holiday season when there can be pressures unexpected.

Brother Dennis,
Excellent message. Right now it seems like the world at large is under a lot of pressure, including Believers. We are not suppose to be "under" for we are "more than conquers through Christ in who "we can do all things"
As I was reading your excellent message, I was thinking to 2
different scriptures:
1) Luke 22:41-44 - "...and being in agony, He prayed more
earnestly...sweating as it were great
drops of blood."
2) Hebrews 12:1-4 - "...ye have not resisted unto blood,
striving against sin."
Jesus was under such pressure of our sins that He was
sweating great drops of blood, striving against our sin.
Have a very blessed "birthday celebration" and a healthy
prosperous New Year!

Over and over again, Paul expressed his humanness in the battle of his self will and the will of God. Miserable is the Christian who cannot admit that they don't have it all together and never feel as Paul did in this message. I believe until one has been so broken that they cannot fix the problem, they will not fully appreciate the strength and power God sheds forth in our lives. It took me some time to learn this. I now can truthfully say, that whatever I must face, my God can handle it and give me the grace to endure. Thanks for this post. Merry Christmas, Dennis. Patricia
