Ulla dear, I feel so sorry for your mother, but
I assume that for family problems she couldn't
keep you. On the other hand I'm so happy you
found each other and started a relationship that
I know will be for the rest of your lives.
Have a wonderful week dear friend.

I swear, Ulla, not only have I read this before ... I am convinced I've read it three times and reviewed it three times as well. So, for the fourth time, your narrative and dialog are excellent.

This is the first review I have received from you and thank you so much. I do appreciate that you like it. Strangely enough I had another reviewer who has said the same thing, yet I've only ever received one review. So I don't know what is going on. All best. Ulla

Spellbinding! I can't wait for the ending. As a government researcher, my job was to locate birth parents for adult adoptees. I love happy endings...I hope this is one!

Hi there, thank you so much for your review,. I am fascinated that you have worked as a government researcher locating birth parents. If you read on as I hope you will do you'll find that this has a happy outcome.
I have looked into your profile and found we have something else in common. My husband and I have a yacht and used to sail The Med. Our boat is in Northern Portugal for the time being where we sailed it to a couple of years back. We've lived in Spain for many years now. We are still planning to go back sailing when we got more time from our house building and looking after our land. Where in the Caribbean are you? I've lived in Barbados some 20years ago now and also spent time in Tobago. All best. Ulla

Finding My Roots "The Quest Part Fifteen" I'm always glad to see one of your chapters appear on FS. I enjoyed the narrative of this story, and I thought the formulation was well catered for. Very well done.

Hi Ulla,
Another good chapter of this compelling true story here. I can't imagine having to go through a situation like this, and you convey the emotion of the piece well.

Hi Ulla, I thought I'd missed one of your wonderful chapters but have looked back and realised that I'm up to date, this is a good chapter where the bond between you and your mother becomes stronger after she once again asks your forgiveness, looking forward to the nexy=t chapter my friend.

I can well imagine how hard it was for your mother to tell you about the sad circumtances surrounding your birth. I'm sure all she wanted to do was forget that moment they took you away. There are a few suggestions below that I hope will help with regard to the positioning of a question mark and the repeat of 'for the longest time.'
Yet again, you have me holding on to my chair for the next chapter, you minx!
I would suggest (to go) going down to the water front
"Mum, this (is) looks delicious." You hadn't tasted it yet!
"I have a suggestion.(,) (w)What do you think of going down to the beach after we've finished this(.)? It's such a lovely day, and it will be great to get some fresh air.(?)"
We sat in silence (for the longest time looking at) while we watched the soft surf (as it hit) hitting the beach (you used 'for the longest time' four or five lines above)

Oh, Alexis, you make me laugh. I am so pleased that you like it and thanks for all the stars. I hope you know how much I appreciate it. I feel I've come a long way and without the help like yours I wouldn't have achieved any of that. I've made the corrections. Thanks again. Ulla xxx

Tessa, it was a lovely omelette filled with fresh broccoli, onions garlic, herbs and a bit of cheese. It was lovely. Thanks for the review. Ulla:)
