Love is made for two, it is sad that sometimes one ended up heart broken while the other seems to have no idea of how they hurt the other. It is seldom to find love where both loves equally, and that love can never be broken by anything.

Yes, we are supposed to be all in. Of course, how can anyone know if the other party has given their all as well? So, once burned, "Give a little bit, give a little bit of your love to me." HEE HEE. Thanks for another fine poem. :-)

Your poem is lovely but sad. I enjoyed reading it. One must be careful when smitten with the love bug, as you have pointed out. Evi

This is a great acrostic. The presentation is super--the color scheme, the format of the words, and the perfect image. Your message is clear. It is sad to think that many fall into this category of loving someone when that love is not returned.
I see 1 tiny change. In the line: Only she didn't notice right away [to make this line read like the others, the word [Only needs to be written [ O nly ] as is, it is missing the space after the O.]
Good job and thanks for sharing.

A very good poem and words to caution to heed. It hurts to be in love alone--two hearts are needed. There are some flim-flammers out there who prey upon others. It's important to enjoy it for what it is and then do our best to let go of it. Marilyn

So true--but we've all been there at one time or another. Our happiness cannot rely on the whims of another though. It's a recipe for misery. Best thing to get over someone is get on with our life and be happy. If nothing else, it drives them crazy. Sooner or later when we move on--they come back. Then we don't want them anymore. Anyway, that's how I see it and what has happened to me. Believe me, if someone doesn't want us--someone else will. God always looks out for us and puts the right person in front of us. Marilyn

I just love this Missy! :)
You write with so much compassion and emotion. I can just feel the passion in your words. The picture goes perfect with this. Beautiful artwork!
This speaks volumes for all women with trusting hearts that just want to be loved. Sadly it doesn't always end up the way we want it. A lot of times we're left with broken hearts and scorned souls.
Thank you for sharing. I enjoy reading all your heartfelt words.

Comment from Dean Kuch
Yes, love must always involve two, Missy, and those two must be totally and completely committed and devoted to each other, and ONLY each other.
There are some whom we admire from afar and yet, we never make our intentions clear, or even known to them at all. In those instances, it can't be considered as unrequited love, not if we haven't taken the chance to tell that person how we truly feel about them. Some are simply very naive and don't pick up hints or clues all too well.
This is a uniquely composed acrostic, and the context is truly touching. It's also beautifully presented, as all of your works are.
Good work!
Hugs...

I truly am guilty of not seeing the signs. I rush in with my heart and always come away broken. I trust to easily and love to fiercely.
Thank you for being here and feeling my poem.
Always,
Missy

This sounds like the unhappy sequel to "A FanStory Crush". I love the opening line of this neat acrostic poem, for I know it to be a possibility. Unrequited love can be really painful and, if this is autobiographical you have my sympathy, if not then my sincerest congratulations on an excellently expressed warning to all concerned.

About 50/50, Gynt. I am a romantic of the first order. I lead with my heart and more often than not, fall short of the real thing.
Always,
Missy
OOPS, thanks for the thoughtful review :)
