I love it and the way you set this poem up, the picture and poem blend into one piece. Congrats on the win. I wish I had a six. Have a great day and God bless.

Please allow me to just say that this is a truism that has existed for me almost all the days of my life. The smell of a recent rain, freshly mown grass, flowers in bloom, etc. This is a clear indication of God's love for man. Only a loving creator would and could give us such wonderful gifts for free. We spend much money for expensive perfumes and colognes while the best scents are ours for free. This is a wonderful reminder, given to us for free.

A thoroughly happy haiku, Gypsy. You personified the rainbow by making it "peek", but you are forgiven in light of the delight your poem brings this reader. Great job! :) Nancy

There is nothing in the world like the smell of earth after rain. Your poem epitomises that sentiment. Your choice of colours is unique, it caught my eye and made me want to read the poem.

Hi GBR - as I was reading this and admiring the layout, I thought this has to be a winner - then as I scrolled down I see it is. Very well done - gorgeous layout with the rainbow colours. Congratulations - Dorothy xxx

Your haiku (soaked earth smell like rain) fits the constraints of this form of poetry (with satori) perfectly. The colored words add to its form superbly. Congratulation on your win. It is well deserved.

A beautiful poem about a rainbow. The use of rainbow colors within the poem is very effective, making this a very artistic and stunning presentation. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

Hi, gypsy.
This is so beautiful. It looks and reads like a poster that could hang on the wall, or it could be a plaque for a desk.
-nice 'l' consonance: smells like/clouds/child smiles
-good 's' consonance: soaked/smells/peeks
Congratulations on your first place win in the contest.
