-Very nice image of your garden. You'll have to keep taking photos and writing about it. For those of us in the US, we will officially begin autumn next week so a little bit of spring will be nice to see.
-I like your poem with the rhyme and many colorful images and the way your love of gardening comes through. (I was not blessed with the green thumb!)
-One image that stood out for me is:
* "But I do like a pansy's face
in coloured rows my garden grace,"
-Very nice conclusion.
-One very small thing: they take to long (too)

Such a lovely time you gave your reader as they enjoyed your garden with you.

I felt as though I was back in the garden of my childhood, and in my beautiful rose garden in New England. You painted such a beautiful picture ith your words,

Thanks for sharing

Here in Jersey, our summer is done
I can certainly say we've had our fun

Fingers in the dirt, knees to the ground
Has provided us with Colorful flowers all around.

Autumns around the corner,
The flowering soon will cease
We'll do this again next year
And happily make our peace.

Not very good poetry, but you get my drift. We enjoy our garden, simple yet colorful.

Thank you, nicely done. John

Gardens are fun to put out, but they are a whole lot of work, too. Well written poem that depicts the pleasures of gardens rather nicely.

This sounds like my idea of an English country garden, I am English so I know all these flowers and I write about them-amongst other things-all the time. I am glad you have been busy with your garden, it is such a pleasure. Good use of rhyming and lovely descriptions of all your garden's niceties. I found a few errors: verse 1, its place (it's=it is) Verse 3, pansy's/pansies'. In verse 4, the species polyanthus remains polyanthus in the plural........Petunias (plural add s). Verse 5 Lilac. Most enjoyable. Faye

Thank you Faye for your great review and for picking up the errors I will correct them immediately so thanks for that. Nice to know your English garden is similar we often talk about having an English garden and Victoria a bit colder lend itself to the English garden plants so they look nice. I also love a tropical garden, but the plants don't like the colder waether. i am glad you enjoyed my offering Cheers so much Christine😃

A well written piece on the joys of gardening, Christine. I'm not a gardener myself but there are a few in my family who are. I liked the imagery you used throughout and I thought your writing was well written. Thanks for sharing...Jacob

Excellent photo that complements your lengthy poem perfectly. It is spring in Australia, and you made your garden so colourful. But you plant plants and not the bulbs. Rhymes all the way.
