(Duh, he's not terribly bright, is he? LOL.)

This was pure entertainment. I didn't have any popcorn to munch, but I had buttery-popcorn flavoured rice cakes. I think you could've described the guys a little though. I mean, we saw just how excited YOU were - geez, share the wealth a little. (*grin*)

Hah, yeah, a voyeuristic writer writing about a voyeur...just how crazy is that, I ask you, lol?
Thanks again for the review, Dawn. I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the "show".

Hah-ha...I have no neighbors, Country. I live out in the boondocks, somewhere between Nowheresville and BFE, lol. It is literally out in the sticks, but I like it that way.
Thanks again for the six stars, and the review. I appreciate it as always.

A good shorty. Better than TV to bring the show right to ya. A complete yarn in few words, with no lapses in logic or spags, an easy one to say yep, here's five.

Well... this explains your last brush with heart difficulties... this
would send most 50(something) men into irregular cardiac
rhythms... (at the very least... just from the reading of it!)
;)

well... this brings out an entirely new side... some
day you're going to have to teach me this very handy little
'flash fiction' thing you've got going here...
I'd love to try my hand at it. heheheh
;)

so to speak.
well done, and i'm always amazed by these tiny tales... as you can
probably tell by my not-so-tiny-reviews... brevity isn't always my
strong point! ;)
Well done... loved it!

Thanks, Cat, and I'll admit, brevity isn't usually one of my stronger attributes either. However, for micro/flash fiction, it forces me to tell a complete story in 500 words or less, while trying to scare the crap outta people. That's why I do it. If you can tell such a story and be successful at it, just imagine what you'd be capable of with no word restrictions in place. Anyhow, it's very good discipline.
This book is open to all active premium FanStory members, and you could be a part of it. Write a story, shoot it to me in my inbox, and I'll tell you what I think. Heck, I'll even do the artwork for you, if you like.

    Much obliged for your review. :}

Dean, another well composed microflash fiction of horror. I am working on another one, but it isn't ready for prime time yet. I'll let you know. Take care, my friend~Debbie

Great, Debbie. Did you see in the Book of the Month contest this month that AVIAN, one of the chapters of our book by Michaelk, was nominated? How great is that!? Let's hope it's not the last.

Much obliged for the review, Debbie. I look forward to reading that story once it is finished.

Great twist at the end! I was expecting the scary part to be a detailed description of the show he would see tonight.
Just as entertaining was your author's note wishing the reader an additional Boo! of a well-timed knock at the door.

Heh-heh..., thank you, Linda. I take it then that you received no such knock on your own door? Drat it all...
Seriously, I very much appreciate your thoughtful review.

My fiend Mr. Kuch,

I know you give a warning of bad language, but it's not usually as bad as the language in this one. You'r causing me to say words that are against my Biblical standard. Yes, I know, As some of my friends and Grandson tells me "Grampa, they are only words; and in this case only words in a fiction story. And.. what did you say? "I don't have to read my stories if they offend you"? Well yeah.. I guess you have a point there. I'll take that under consieration.

Ok that's off my chest, I liked the stories ending. I almost was expecting it to come out that way.
Popcorn, gore, blood and guts WOW! What a evening snack.

Your Friend and brother,
Jerry

I know, my friend, and I apologize for the rather colorful language. I personally cringe when I hear that word escaping across someone's lips, and I would never use such language myself. However, unfortunately my characters sometimes do. Perhaps it's a way to vent some deep-seeded, pent-up frustrations, I don't know. But this guy just screamed vulgarity to me, and there's only one word in the entire English language I hate more than that one. Words are not just "words", I've never felt that way. Words have power--power to destroy, power to inspire--and have even been known to cause a war or two.
I would never be presumptuous enough to tell you not to read my writing simply because I've included a warning for foul language. That would be rude of me. But it is why I post the warning, just in case sometime decides, Eh...this probably isn't going to me my cuppa tea.
Thanks very much for reading it all the same, my friend. I do appreciate your opinions and reviews.

So she felt like her neighbor needed to gain some experience a bit more up close and personal. If he had any insight at all he wouldn't open that door, but then letting her know she has an audience wasn't the best idea. If it is time to move on, she cannot leave a witness. Too bad about the popcorn.

Yeah, I love Orville Redenbacher's Pour-Over-Butter popcorn best of all. It is rather expensive, though. That artificial butter flavoring that comes with it probably isn't the best thing for you either. But, you only live once, right?
    Thanks for the review. :}

Good grief, Dean, the thought of eating and witnessing bloody violence makes me queasy.

That aside, I do feel badly that your protagonist wasted money on Orvil Redenbacher. I guess a refund wouldn't do him much good now, LOL. Hugs, Lou

Nope, not now, Lou. On a brighter note, maybe his little succubus friend enjoys Orville Redenbacher too. If so, at least it won't go to waste.
Thanks very much for your review, my friend.

You are the most disgusting, perverted derelict I've ever had the pleasure to read. It's very comforting knowing there others out there like myself. A very nice little story, Dean. Then there is the truth of, "Be careful of what you wish for". The voluptuous vixen was just saving you for later.
