I always liked butterflies and the many colors and shapes those colors projected Here on the Big Island of Hawaii we have a few but not like the many I grew accustomed to in upstate NY..You have captured their beauty not only in words but in photo as well!!!

this is an excellent write, gypsy, beautiful imagery presented about the butterfly, beautiful picture. not truly a haiku as the first two lines rhyme but I enjoyed reading it

Well written poem. Too bad it was not entered into the butterfly contest. Would have a real good chance of doing very well in it.

Love the line butterflies guide my soul. It is a line full of wisdom and has a spiritual feel to it. Your haiku form creates a clear scene that brings up feelings and has a positive message.
