I'm amazed at the popularity of the ladybug contest. We always get a lot of ladybugs crawling on our screen. They drive the cat crazy. They are kind of sweet and their coloring makes them beautiful, as you say. Great last line. It would tickle if you held it in your hand. Your words are well chosen. judi

This is a very good entry into the haiku lady bugs contest. Children love the beautiful red color with black spots. they have no problem picking them up, just like you said in your notes.

Such a fragile insect the lady bug and one of beauty.
It is one of the few creatures that everyone automatically loves and wants to save.

My favorite living thing to hold was a Horned toad.

I did raise many different species of frogs also.

Sweet haiku on the topic of the cutest bug around. I must admit that I really hate bugs. I don't want anything to do with them, but lady bugs are the one bug that doesn't gross me out. They are like the anti-bug. Good luck in the contest.
