Valarie, I'm not sure if anyone could have said it better then you have.
So warm and heartfelt you left no stone unturned.

I think we all share these feelings for her. I'm writing a short Mango and Bert story for her. How do I post it to this book?

Thank you so very much for your glowing comments. Go to the bottom of the post and you will see 'add a chapter' and click on it. It will allow you to add a poem (mine wasn't a poem but the book is dedicated to poetry) and just post what you want. I am sure Brooke will be delighted when she gets it.

No, I am not a poet but Brooke reviewed everything I wrote and was the inspiration that allowed me to finish my book. I am so pleased you liked what I wrote.

Love your words. They are eloquent and show strong feelings and emotions. I hope Brooke gets well and is able to return to poetry and aiding those of us who need help. I too, am always amazed at how much she reviews poems and prose. I am in awe of her and as a dandelion fanatic, I love her poems.

A beautiful personal tribute to Brooke. I did not know she was unwell, as I'm only on and off Fanstory. I should have guessed, as she has reviewed all my work form the day I signed up to the site - all except my last four posts. I wondered where she was, thought perhaps she was on holiday, or just slowing down. She held such a tremendous workload on FS. All her poems inspired me, especially those on nature. And especially her children's poetry. Could you please update me on Brooke. Marion.

I don't know much more than she was recently diagnosed with severe aggressive MS and is currently in the hospital. She originally told me she was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis and was taking some time off. But finally Miranda sent a message thru the forum updating us on her mother's condition. Aggressive MS is the worst type you can get. It hits hard and fast and the prognosis is not good. Beyond that, I really don't know much more. I am so heartbroken over this. I truly love her as a friend and feel so helpless. I wish her all the best and pray that she will be able to return to us.

She has been number one since before I joined in 2008. I miss her terribly and pray she comes back to all of us.
