G'day Karen, this is great work and I'm sure brooke will love it. It is such a sad situation and it is fantastic to see this book being compiled. I'd like to write one to add to it tomorrow, what do I do to included it? Cheers Fez

Yes, please add a post. Just scroll down to the bottom of my poem page and you should see multi-authored book and then below it-- add a chapter. Click on it and you will be good to go! Let me know if that does t do it. 8-)

I saw this yesterday and sighed. I guess most if not all of us here at FS know who she is.... there's only one Brooke in the FS world. There is always this sort of season in everyone's lives. We just don't want to believe it right away when it comes. Hopefully she will pull though and recover. Brooke's light has been shining and will continue to shine in her poetry and in all the folks she has touched over the years.

I saw this yesterday and sighed. I guess most if not all of us here at FS know who she is.... there's only one Brooke in the FS world. There is always this sort of season in everyone's lives. We just don't want to believe it right away when it comes. Hopefully she will pull though and recover. It's really nice to see FanStorians write for Brooke, and what can be a better gesture! Your poem is like a little prayer that we all can say and hope that Brooke gets well soon and comes back with her wonderful rhymes. Your words are beautiful and there cannot be a picture more apt than that of dandelions to go with this poem!
Brooke was my first reviewer too, and she sure knows how to motivate and make one feel very positive. She is so special! I'm not aware of what illness is keeping her away, but I'm really missing her and my prayers and thoughts are always with her.

Hey Linda,
Her daughter said that she has been diagnosed with aggressive form of MS. She is in a nursing facility right now while they determine treatment. Praying that they can get it under control.

That is absolutely lovely. What a tribute to pay to a person I now assume you have never met. Which really doesn't matter either way.
First, I thought you were addressing the love of your life. I interpreted that the person was going through difficult personal times. It is very well written and I enjoyed it. Well done. Ulla
