The time is right for this poem
To remember those now fallen
Not only the victims of many wars
Also the constant loss of life in crises zones
I never understand the difference
War or Crises are the same
Each have the loss of life to blame
Not on the soldier but political games

thank you for your excellent review
Comment from Dean Kuch
Good job with the creativity here--using the red, white and blue font was a nice touch.
It's a sad way of life for many families who have loved ones serving in our military's armed forces. They are placed in harm's way on a daily basis, in danger at anytime of IED explosions, sniper fire, or small arms fire fights with insurgents.
Good luck to you on the contest, and Happy Memorial Day!

So many died for our Country, to make our lives better. To them we dedicate Memorial Day. They deserve this and more, for theirs was a great sacrifice. They left everything behind to serve this Country. To those that came home this Country should be proud and helped them in their daily needs . Most are homeless and unemployed. They should be their prerogative. Good picture used for your write and good imagery as well.

This is well worth a 10, but 6 is all I have. What better love has a man than to lay down his life?
Great red, white, & blue presentation.
THANK YOU TO ALL MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE CURRENTLY SERVING, HAVE SERVED, OR GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE FOR MY FREEDOM.

This is interesting. Your syllable is good, although that depends on how you pronounce: 'our'. I advise caution on that one. The first line i would also look into again.

This meets the contest requirements beautifully with a correct line and syllable count. I thought your theme powerful even if it is the sadder side of love when we lose someone. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you for sharing it.

Comment from TPAC
Very profound had to read it three times trying to understand the depth of the message
1 line sorrow of family
2 line government notice
3 line letter statement
might be deeper but as far I risk to go down hole Thanks for sharing
