When we lose a loved one, be it sister, brother, husband wife, mother, father or child the grief can be overwhelming at times. What I usually tell people is to recall the good times and good memories of that loved one. And also to refuse to let people tell you to cheer up, at that point most of us will just not feel like cheering up for days, weeks, months, a year or more.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness, my sister lost her husband just 6 months ago and I think her broken heart added to her unknowing illness, but I know she's in a better place but those left behind miss her so my, my sister forever, my friend for life

Those behind always bear the pain. I am convinced (because death is inevitable and when is random) that those who die have it easy compared to those who love and miss them when they go.

I t is very sad when a member of the family passes on. You were in a state of depression but know in your heart that you will see her again. My sincere condolence for the pain caused by the passing of your sister , she is in another dimension where there is eternal peace and healing. Well written and vivid imagery of what happens when a dear one is no longer with us. The image used mirrors your words.
