I do too, in the hope it will get rid of the thing, but of course it just takes longer to heal as a result.

Hi Ray :) Do we ALL do it then?! Don't make it sore!
I meant the poem in both the literal and metaphoric way - I just can't let old wounds heal if you know what I mean - I'm my own worst enemy at times... Glad to see you changed your minds about prompt sponsorship - I might have a crack at your latest ;)

I was too busy smiling and empathising, to appreciate the very clever metaphor, Debs.

I think many women dwell on things longer than men. Thankfully, I have a short memory, so that helps too. :-)
