A very well-written chapter. When we get a new car, all we want to do, is to ride it as much as possible. Despite the bad luck on the road it seems you had a great time after all.

Thank you for sharing your story. I could feel the emotion that inspired it as if I was actually there, and that is a trait of a good writer.........take care...

Thanky ou very, very much. That is precisely the feeling I seek to create. This is most definitely all true. There are still rewards on a couple of previous chapters if interested. May I suggest you read my introduction will give you and idea about the whole book. I will have a look at your stuff. I like to reciprocate.

Plan was always there, intention, wish and desire ever; ultimately got success, visit was feasible by a new car to Dad at Grawin, also visited the Warrumbungles National Park located in between Coonamble and Coonabarabran, and more and adventure ends; I enjoyed the read.

Thanks Teri I think you might be the one I got mixed up with another writer. Are you the one whose dad travelled all over for his work in your younger years even came to Australia for a while?? Sorry if I am barking up a wrong tree again. We had this chapter up a long time ago been through so many changes. Just glad I have figured out a way to get more pictures on the chapters. There are some others up atm with rewards still on there I think. Heading towards a big REVIVE Certificate review if I don't find anymore chapters I need to add. Thanks again.

That's quite a picture there. I thought it was a statue of the Virgin Mary when I first looked at it. That looks like a tough climb. Good chapter here. That could have been worse. Lucky that someone happened by. Good story. mikey

I will check for it on my Face book and point it to you. I wish I had had more practise with the old super 8. Heyt that new stgory of yours I do see a lot of your life in bits and pieces in there am I right? Thanks mate. Sorry all the rewards have run out.

The picture reveals some really interesting country. I was rescued out in the middle of a northern desert once and I swore for years it was an angel. Lost is a horrible feeling.

In today's world whenever you take a hike in National Parks, in the US, they all have water stops along the way. I bet they do in Australia now. Still enjoying your posts.

How wonderful that you were reunited with your Dad, Geoff.
How on earth did the ginger bottles explode?
Delighted to find another episode from your story, Geoff.
Bless you!
I will never forgive the ranger who assured me there ... and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who ... :)

Hi Sis thanks for coming by hope you have looked at some of the others that still have rewards on em. I guess the bottles got shaken around a bit on the rough road coming out from Grawin back in those days. Had a good time with Dad went down in the Opal Mine ONCE! wish I could put more photos on but we are getting more o with the Split of chapters anyway. I guess God made it up to me on Belougery with the people willing to give me one of their soft drink cans ha!

Good write as usual today, Geoff, I've visited all those places and driven those roads when I was younger, we did a few concerts in Tamworth New England etc. so we share common ground! How did you manage to pay for the car if the repayments were more than you earned? I can remember the days of those wages! Well done, again, blessings, Roy.

Nah wage $AUD60 per WEEK Payments $AUD66.00 per MONTH! My Mother never wanted me to go on Hire Purchase bit my brother encouraged it and I feel seeing Mum was away then he might have backed me up if I needed help. This was hen Mum was a Missionary in Eritrea. I hope you will be interested in my Mum's "Megoirs" when I do them on here down the road.

Ouch, having bottles of ginger beer exploding in the boot must have been quite traumatizing. Now wonder you blocked it out :) Another fine chapter.
