Aww, Rox, that was lovely. You had better show Emily and Roger this story, it should go with all their other wonderful mementoes, I am sure their children will enjoy the story in a few years time! :) xsx Sandra

Vary well writing with the pen and expressed with a matching photo! It's nice to see fellow poets work of art, work of heart. Pulls on my heart strings.
~A moment in eternity~
May you have many moments of love & joy to share, may your love be strong and grow stronger and sweeter for life for all time and eternity.
To Women
Don't be a controlling snob. Don't be a money loving shoe shopping Sister; Don't be in the Bad Girls Club.(Walk in your shoes don't let them walk all over you)
What I'm saying here is...
Worship God, love your friends & own your belonging; Don't worship your belonging, use your friends & forget about God.
It' better to live on a hot tin roof then to live with a nagging wife. Let Pro-31 be your example. Husbands and wife's don't always see eye to eye so in all things look to Jesus.
In marriage build your life, your house, your home on the Rock of Ages not on sinking sand.
Thank God you and your husband are different yet one in Christ Jesus.
To Men
I was told real men don't like to listen to chit chat or details from women??? what's that all about??? A real man should be loving and good as listening... Men are (or should be) just as romantic and human as women... Communication is the key to any healthy relationship.
a real man would walk alone though a rose garden stepping on every rose to get to where he is going other then take the long romantic road with his sweetheart... Sorry guys but that's more like a mindless monster then a Christian gentleman! Men should not be labelled as a brainless, heartless monster!!! unless we are one!
Come on men be the head of the house love your wife's, Let's be men of excellence and integrity let Jesus be our example!
For me to live is Christ Jesus.

It's s lovely to see you pop back in again and go read a delightful, lighthearted story.
Super Pig is such a likeable character - rather likd an impish toddler.
I liked the fun and frivolity I f the tale and how you wove the real wedding into the story. What a lovely reminder for your niece.
So delightfully written and so engaging.
So sorry I have no sixes.

Such a delightful wedding blessed by so many of God's creatures. I do think Timmy Tomcat may be misnamed. He sure isn't timid. It is a good thing Super Pig was there.

Thanks so much Jean. Timmy is named for my brother who tormented me most of my childhood. I had him as a squirrel, but he didn't think that was manly enough. So now he is a trouble making cat. Just like in real life. =} Rox

I know I've been gone forever! I do read stories now and then, but haven't written for a while. I am so busy with my new card business that I haven't had the time. I am amazed that my cards are selling. Since I'm making a bit of money, I guess I put the cards before my writing. But I do miss it and all of you. Hope you are doing well.
I'm still in CA where the wedding was making it into a vacation as well. Having a good time with family.
Thanks so much for the great review. Take care and hope to see more of you all. Rox

You did an excellant imaginative work on your muse. You¡®ll be surprize I found my own muse in your story, from wondering how some people tolerate animals. How would you feel if your partner caressed a pet and use the same hands to caress you later in the day. This is why I have a little problem with pets. ¡°Different strokes for different folks¡° i guess is what you would say. Good story and a good muse.
There is a line like this in your story: ¡°She should have known he try something like this¡°. Isn¡®t something missing there?

I do hope Emily washed her hands before getting ready for the wedding. =} She has no pets of her own but her folks have 2 tiny wiener dogs whom she loves. I have no pets either, so not sure why I write about animals. =} I noticed I left something out of that line so fixed it. Thanks so much for the great review. Rox

I got inspired to write a flash tale (100 words) by your own story. I have written and submitted it as my own entry to a contest. Titled ¡®Reversed Contract¡®, it is a story about a wedding that was canceled because the woman loves pet that she fondles but the man wouldn¡®t want such hands on him.

HI! Roxanna, this is just the tale for teachers to read at Pre-school, or Nans to read to their little darlings at bedtime, a really smiley story, which kids of all ages will love. wiljacro.

This is a cute children's story. Younger children might not know any more about a wedding than the animals did. This was a fun piece to read.
Check the paragraph beginning "The Paw shoot out again ..." I think you meant "shot" rather than "shoot." And, " ... climbed over Roger's shoulder and run down the aisle ..." should be "ran" rather than "run."

I love children's stories especially when animals are involved. This was a cute little story. Good job the pig was their to stop the cat spoiling the day. Children will enjoy this. I did notice a couple of mistakes...and watched the guest arrive (guests). And the groom with him groomsmen (his). As she watched the paw darted out (dart). She should have know he try something like this (he would try) Hope you don't mind. Really enjoyed the read. Genya

Hi Roxanna, you are not on your own. Just when I think I have got it right, I find reviewers still find things I have missed. Totally agree with you, reviews are just so helpful. Take care. Genya
