As a former caretaker of two different family members, your poem resonates with me. The running, praying, lack of time for self, and the mundane things of cooking. Well done.

Hi,
Being a caretaker can be so rewarding, but so very sad when one is nearing the end of their life and all you can do it make them as comfortable as possible.
Having just lost 6 family members within a 4 month period, this poem hit home with me.
Nice presentation. Good luck in the contest.
Cheers & Blessings

Oh friend, Please accept my condolences and my thanks for all that you shared.

Thx so much for your condolences. It was a grueling time, for sure. All of them died from the dreaded cancer as well. So sad.
Cheers (*_*)

This is an excellent poem, written in just five lines as the prompt requires. I'm with you: God bless the caretakers of the world, for they have a hard row to hoe. Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer

YOu have described the most underrated individual in our society. Most of the time the caretaker of the house is virtually invisible. So very often her menial tasks are unnoticed. This is an excellent poem that shows the priceless worth of the caretakers of this world. This work deserves 10 stars.

Simple but poignant observation.
This is a nice tribute to those caregivers who work so hard to help others.
I loved the simple rhyming accent that bolstered this work.
Good job.

I like this entry in this gogyoshi poetic contest, it seems all the troubles of a housewife, serf, slave, are encapsulated in this noble woman's character, I think this an excellent entry in this contest, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy.

That is a very difficult role to play. I have done it and the caretaker gets very tired, worn out and weary. You wrote about it quite well.

Not only is this piece right on with lines but the message as well. What would we do without the care takers. Blessings to you.

Caretakers are anyone that cares and helps other people. They know that we are our brother's keepers. I enjoyed reading this short poetic format. It was well written with a good message... John
