Thank you so much! It was fun to write and a really different idea for a contest, so I thank you for that. I don't think the wolf means to be devious, he simply does not get enough veggies in his diet and might be ornery due to constipation - more clover might help LOL. I am very grateful for your lovely words of support and was quite happy to share the jungle with you and HiHi.

Pne thing about writing, it will always mean something to different to each person as we all have different perception and experience bases that we operate from - if we keep that in mind then no review can ever really hurt us.

I like how you developed the main character. So cute. I like the many examples you gave the reader of the reviewers. I really like the way the lamb stuck to his principles and refused to be steamrolled by the others. Good job. I would change nothing. Good luck with the contest.

I always think of Stephen King's 75 rejections before finally publishing Carrie...good thing he didn't give up. I often wonder what those publishers that turned him away thought when he became such a big hit. Keep up the great work and don't worry so much about the constraints of some of the prompts. Be your own writer and write what and the way you want. This is a clever story and a great entry for this contest. I wish you all the best.

Thank you so much, Sasha! So many great people were told 'no' sometimes hundreds of times before they succeeded - Walt Disney, Colonel Sanders, Fred Smith. The key to life is joyful perseverance and that I have in abundance LOL. It means much to me that you enjoyed this and thought it a clever approach. It was fun to write and nice that the little lamb finally got the last word LOL.
