Nice poem. Definitely meets the rhyming requirement for this contest. My favorite stanza is:

Love will then reign, as prophets have sworn,
Bringing a beautiful heavenly morn.

Best of luck in the contest!

This is a great poem that harmonizes with the scripture in Isaiah and with the truth that the earth will one day be a paradise under the Kingdom of God. Great imagery throughout. Too bad people can't visualize it and think paradise is in heaven.

Beautiful restatement of Isiah and Psalms. It is a comforting passage to read and reflect upon. Your poem flowed beautifully - and - it is a lovely subject. Best of luck in the contest finals. AT=/

Some of my favorite biblical scriptures in all of the Bible, and you have taken them and created a beautiful Terza Rima poem for the contest.

Wonderfully done, and you have certainly done a fabulous job. Best of luck to you in the contest finale.

    I recited the 23rd Psalm to my mother-in-law everyday for over a week as she lay dying in hospice from pancreatic cancer. It was her favorite, and I know it by heart.

    You're very welcome. :}

This is a lovely poem of peace of earth with animals and all people. Imagine a lion and a lamb lying together on some grass and playing with each other.

Such a lovely re-casting of the parable.

This is such a heart warming poem which reflects my sentiments. I often wonder why nature is so cruel, why animals (including humans) have to feed off each other to survive. Nicely done. Hugs, Lou

    I agree. Someday we can live together in peace with each other and the animals. Too bad we have to wait. Thank you for your insights and kind comments, Lou.
