I enjoyed reading your poem. One thing that I notice is in the second to last line you have used 3 words, the prompt asked for each line to have 2 words from what I saw. Other than that I love the poem. Great use of description. Great flow. Great picture choice. Best of luck.

Hi rrabinow :) Thank you for your great feedback, I appreciate your fine comments and good luck wishes too...! The contest rules state that the 14 words be separated into a 7 line poem made up of 2 parts - it didn't specify that there be 2 lines per line though.

This is darling and the photo is too adorable. Yes, children at that age cannot contain their excitement. They also can't wait to give you a Christmas or birthday gift. Mine would never wait till my birthday. Good luck in the contest. This one is very cute.
