We always think farmers have it rich, but we don't realize how many farmers are actually struggling. This is sure a good cause. Well written poem too.

This is yet another beautiful and interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. Erin must be a wonderful young woman indeed. Her heart is in the right place.

Good poem with a good message. Good word flow and rhyming make it easy to read and understand. Sounds like the farmer had a beautiful daughter.

Thank you Geoff.
I know this special young woman too.
Your lovely expression of support for her as she steps beyond
her comfort zone into the difficult world of fundraising is appreciated.
Her efforts to raise funds for the very worthy -BUY A BALE" to assist farmers in dire circumstances is inspiring.

Hi Geoff,
A great limerick-y poem with food for thought.
I understand that the plight of the Aussie farmers is still bad.
Have a great week, friend. Nice talking to you.

Yeah I thought Limericky too but never meant it to be any kind of humourous thing. Thanks for the review. I just added a bit to one of the later chapters in my book if interested. I have promoted that too if you care to look. A bit of a funny thing that happened during our renovations in 2006.

Nice little poem, Sankey. Touching and very human.
Nevertheless, the:
--A Poem about an adventurous young woman.
>>Somehow does not fit the content. She cares about farmers, that's what I got out of it, not that she's adventurous. Or maybe I'm missing something ... which can also be the case.

You are probably right but if you read what her Mother dsays about her you would understand more of the adventurous. I will see if I can link you up with what her Mum wrote (in FS) ok thanks for the review anyway.

That is a beautiful girl. It's intriguing.
"I've met a young lady named Erin,
As a farm girl she's certainly rearin'
She's got quite a name
Put's others to shame
Cos she cares how the farmers are farin'"
Nicely written.

That is beautiful. Sorry I was away. I went to school as a Cosmetologist to be a well-rounded artist. Now back, and not bothered. Just doing what I love doing. Which is writing my hearts out.

Caring is not to be taken lightly. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a good read. There is very good imagery.

A very funny, what looks and smells like a Limerick, Geoff, one of my regrets is, I've never stayed on a farm for any length, apart from doing a little fruit picking in my youth! I liked this poem Geoff, I hope it gets good reviews for you! Well done, blessings, Roy.
