In the fifth verse you spelled Midianites as Midionites. This is a great rendition of the Biblical story and it is a tale that we would be well served to listen to. There is a great moral here.

Thanks Tom for the edit. I think my spell check wanted to make sure all Midianites were represented. LOL I actually had it three ways. I am glad you are enjoying this series. I am also, it gives me a chance refresh as well. :-) Carolyn

I love this one in your series of biblical stories, Gideon has to be one of the most amazing stories of what can happen when you are obedient to The Lord! This story of Gideon brings to mind one question - will God take part in the killing of the sinful ones and the answer must be 'yes'. He does partake in punishment for the sinful and will not hesitate to kill anyone who does not fear Him.
Great spiritual stories about the characters and stories from the Bible in your series, smiles.
