The message is great, with Daniel in the Lion's Den. Meter is off, but I expected to see that. It's hard to keep an even meter when a story is that long. Keep it up Carolyn. Hugs. Sally

I enjoyed your rhyming couplets that
tell the story of Daniel.
A beautiful story of the power of faith.
Daniel believed and was saved.
Great descriptive lines.

Again another nice biblical story in a poem Carolyn. The picture goes well with story. I found this nice to read, but the flow in the fifth verse didn't feel quite right. (Daniel the whole night spent). For the rest I found it a lovely poem.
Kind regards
Sarah

I love this particular story in the Bible, notesandmore, and your well rhymed, metered and perfectly expressed depiction of it was an excellent poetic retelling of the age-old tale.
Wonderfully done!

I must tell you, my four grandchildren enjoyed Jonah and David very much.
Daniel is another beautiful Biblical story/poem. So glad you've decided to share your poetic, spiritual story. Have a blessed weekend. The kids will here this one on Sunday when their families come to dinner.

If all goes well and my mind holds out, LOL, I should end up with a book of around 20 or 30 Bible story poems. Your comments are always so uplifting to me and encourages me to write more.
Have a sweet weekend, :-) Carolyn

Thanks Kat,
When the book is finished, I should have around 20 or 30, if my mind holds out. LOL . I read each story again several times to make sure I represent the Lord to the best of my ability.
Love you, Carolyn
