A very strong and potent poem. Look beyond the handicaps to see the actual person. Every person is unique, no matter where short or tall, whole or handicapped. They all deserve respect. Well penned and best wishes with the contest. luv jada

Indeed - being as fit as a fiddle doesn't guarantee awareness of beauty and surroundings, or kindness and love. In fact, they say some handicaps can enhance the senses.

Excellent!

Best wishes, Ted

Though severely handicapped by a six word limit, you push your meaning through. Well done. Lovely illustration.

I'm delighted by the powerful use of six words that this contest is producing. Yours is the best I have read yet. The message comes across with such great power. It really makes the reader stop and think. I could just imagine it as a slogan for the year of the disabled or some such awareness raising initiative.

You deliver a significant message in your poem though the rules restrict you to six words
I like the alliterative pairing of handicapped and wholehearted

What a great and positive outlook, you express with only six words. It is amazing how muck you are able to express with so few words.

Good luck!

Very important message and worded so well. Six words is so difficult and you have a full meaning poem here with only six words. I know, because I tried to write several. Thank you for sharing this excellent poem. Good luck in the contest!
