Unfortunately Chicago remains one of the most violent cities in America Something really should be done Tomorrow hopes we have learned something from yesterday.

I really don't think religious differences are the cause. I think it's humans desire for greed and power. I enjoyed reading your poem. You did a good job writing it.

There is always hope. But as your poem states there are many who don't think of the outcome of their actions and their thoughts. Hope just might not be enough. But with great writings like your poem I will keep hoping.

Recently, there's like civil war in Ukraine and Russia, shootings in Detroit every day as the same goes in other states and cities. This is a subject we all need to talk about. Thanks for the thoughts. The font text is interesting because I haven't been able to change mine, but that may be because I write on a phone... The picture seems a little hypocritic, but I like it as it reminds me of Call Of Duty and virtual violence is at least better than actual violence. Again, great message.

Perhaps, if we each took a few minutes of silence
[I believe you mean "tried to GET along" don't you?]

Your poem opens up endless possibilites for speculation, Debbie. And that's what good poetry should do, Correct?

I don't know what, if anything can be done politically. I think, at bottom, each individual needs to take those "few minutes of silence".
