Powerful love poem, for not many would give their lives for someone else. My hubby would, I'm sure. For our kid, of course, but also for me, and I don't like that and have told him so. Let's just hope we never have to find out what we would do in such a situation.

Sweet, I think you may have a contender here. I liked the simplicity of your love poem. Souls now one, were two.
Well written my friend. Good luck, Carolyn

Loving someone you can't help but wonder how can it be that I loved you more today than yesterday but it grows with time. As you stated there were two now blended into one and yes true love you do give your life for them. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest. Terrie

Very nice, I like the smooth form and sharp contrast of the presentation. That may matter to a committee voter.
notes:
more than the sea {is} blue?
How does this sound to you with that in there?

The rhyming has a nice ring to it, but because you of your deep concentration on the sound, the meaning lacks a bit. Good luck with the contest. Les

Nicely composed love poem that could easily be made into a greeting card. I hope that you are giving this poem to someone special. Don

Debbie, I find it difficult to write mono rhymes but you did an excellent job in doing so. Neither of your rhymes were forced, labored or strained and that made your rhythm flow smoothly throughout your poem. All this made it clearly to read your poem. Thank you so much for sharing and posting this for others may always find happiness wherever you go.
