This is a very funny little work. Poor dog gets blamed for everything! As far your poem, it is well written and seems to follow the requested poetic format. Good luck in the contest!

This work has reached the exceptional level

Great picture. This is a humorous and happy poem considering the smell that comes to mind is repugnant. The dog looks so "relieved" , reminds me of my dog. I did enjoy this poem.

Owed to an excess of beans
O dog - was it you?
perfect 5=7=5 syllable count which satisfies the requirements for this form.
