Dear Debbie - anxiously waiting for color, yes I am too. Lots of snow has melted but again I wait for tomorrow. Nicely penned with a sense of goodbye to winter and hello to spring.
Thanks for sharing it.

Your photo is lovely and the entire presentation is beautiful
solid use of rhyming couplets
good alliteration in bulbs blossom
and barren branches
lots of good details that remind us of what we've all been longing for during this dreadful and long winter :-) Brooke

A good, positive outlook on the weather, Debbie. We've still got cold, too, and rain today.
I used to try to sneak past those seed packets when my husband was with me, as he'd buy so many--not bad until you have to plant all of them!

Oops. Thanks for catching that. I changed that line several times--I started with store shelves, but didn't really like it. Take care. Hugs, Debbie

You must be writing these poems by faith, Debbie! Sometimes the tentacles of the season(s) won't let go, they're almost sentient beings! Your'e literary illustrations in this work evokes vivid and beauteous images of things to come! Well done, Blessings, Roy.

Love the picture and the poem. Is farmer's supposed to be possessive? And in the second to last line store should be stores.
Love the flow, and the line petals of all hues are awesome...that put a smile on my face:)

This is a nice little poem that speaks about our anxious anticipation of Spring. Nice flow and even nicer picture. short and to the point.
My favorite line is "Farmers awaken from winter's bleak, planting will soon be at its peak".

This makes me crave spring. We too are getting a lot of snow and your lovely poem is as refreshing as a spring day. Thanks for tiding me over until we actually see some signs of it here! Couldn't find anything I'd change.
