This is an excellent poem with such an inspired metaphor the puppets are tied to their karma. The karma of their strings. Is so suggestive, poetic and touching.

Ah-h-h-hhhhhhh, very clever, Mystery Poet. karma does play a major role in our lives, I believe. Not only by the ways in which people treat us, but more importantly by the ways in which we treat others.
Wonderfully presented and perfectly constructed lune.
Magnificent message, too! Well done.

This lune has a lot of depth of meaning. Beautiful imagery. I love the idea of strings tying us to our karma, and those strings being pulled by a ''higher being'', if you will. A+. :)

M-M-M interesting I wonder is that really the story of our human life journey despite how we feel that we 'manage' and control our own destiny?

Yes, for most part of our life aren't we like that? .We sure do have the illusion of managing everything ourselves.

A great lune. How true that we are connected to our karma (good and bad) by strings. Great imagery to think about and the illustration is spot on, cheers Judester

This lune is formatted correctly. The picture fits the subject perfectly. One question....the puppeteer is pulling the strings and controlling the actions. If the actions that result are tied to their karma, meaning the dolls, do the actions that result reflect the desires of the puppeteer or the dolls that are being manipulated?

The puppeteer's.the actions are tied to the dolls' karma.Dolls alas have no say.( fatalism has a negative effect ,but it is very convenient when things don't go our way .blame it all on the devine puppeteer so that one need not self destruct with thoughts of failure etc etc)Thank you for this beautiful review.

This is a clever Lune, and it is spectacularly presented with the art work. Form and syllable count are correct according to the rules of this contest. Good luck, Jeanie Mercer
