Wonderful, Jackarrie. A potent poetic proclamation of self discovery and awareness.I loved everything about this, from the frolicking fun flow of verse, to the lovely depiction of Cahore in art.
Fabulous work!

Hi Mary:)
First let me say, your painting is far too precice to ne considered amateurish. When I first looked at it I thought it was a photograph.
Your nostalgic poem about the beauty and tranquility of Cahore leaves no doubt of your love of this special place ny the sea. Like the colors of your painting, the words of your poem are perfectly selected and describe this village just as you painted it.
Love and Irish Hugs for sharing the beauty of Ireland. I ran low on stars already or you would have six .

Mary, as an artist you are remarkable and you And your painting is marvelous and well done. I admire your skill in doing so, painting this picture. Your poems rhymes were neither forced, labored or strained volume rhythm Flow smoothly throughout your poem. Your piece itself is kind of mystifying by the beauty in which you ingeniously put the words such amorous way of imagining the area of which you so dearly love. Thanks so much for sharing and posting of your work and may you have a good one.

My struggles and fears in life became less daunting
I felt a beginning of a life my inner self was wanting
Many years have passed, yet I still I can clearly see
It was the best place in the world for me, to find me
How beautiful this truly is Mary. A wonderful place where you could lose yourself and feel free. Lovely quatrains too.

I love this poem. It's simple & sincere, conveying the feelings of this place, for you. Your words represent the way many of us feel when we've found the place on this planet that resonates with & nourishes our spirit. Great job & thanks for sharing.

Both your wonderful painting and your poem deserve this six! I have always wanted to go to Ireland. My grandmother's family came from Ireland.I still have a tiny old old stool from there. It's precious to me.
The way you described the therapeutic place you love was so endearing. You are a talented artist in your own right, too! This is just a lovely landscape!.

Thank you so much Loanna, for this exceptional review. Yes it is a beautiful place, I now only get to visit it once a year, I first went there to a caravan, then we bought a broken down chalet and did it up. then we knocked down the chalet and built a big house. (this was my husbands idea) after the big house was built I felt it took so much away from the site. We sold the year of the twin tower atrocity. We moved near the grandchildren. we also live between Ireland and Spain. At present I am in Spain. ABout 6 weeks in each country. Mary
