Terrific 5-7-5. I love how she looks below at the plains.

Favorite line: ermine wrapped ice queen.

Artwork is terrific and really does showcase your poem.

This is an interesting personification of a landscape covered with snow and ice, personified as an "ermine wrap ice queen." Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer

I love your poem, with it's unique word choices that paint a lovely African scenario, but I cannot guess what the subject might be. The phrase "Ice at the Equator" is original & creative. Could this be Mount Kilimanjaro? Thanks for sharing.

Where is there ice at the equator? Mount Kilimanjaro? Oh, I thought of ice in a glass as you cross the equator ...going through the Panama Canal and the captain dressing as king Neptune...that's where your poem took me. But I beat to a different drum :o)
