I like your use of the acrostic to create this template for temptation. The craft of the work is excellent - I especially like your unforced rhyme. The fact that you rhymed the first four lines exactly, led me to expect that in the next four. However, what you said outshone that need for consistency. This is an excellent work I appreciated the use of words unexpected as sang-froid and Noblesse oblige. Thank you.

As Oscar Wilde once said, "I can resist anything except temptation." It certainly does require great strength of mind to resist and a little help from above goes a long way, as you suggest in you nicely penned poem.
