It is marvellous when one has a marvellous spouse to help, especially when something as nasty as Parkinson's is around, I'm glad you're still onsite. Beautifully written, in. smooth flowing text. It's so difficult to go through an affliction like Parkinson's disease with assistance much less on your own.
Simple, well rhymed and to the point.
You don't mince words here or drag out what you wish to convey.

This is a terrific poem in tribute to your loving and caring hubby. *smile* Aren't you a deliciously lucky young lady!! haha! My father-in-law suffered from Parkinson's and so I feel I can relate a bit. My mother-in-law was by his side every step of the way. It's so comforting to see a couple who loves and commits to each other in this way. Thanks for this poem with a super message and fine example. Hugs--

I just read your poem after reading your response to me on my post.
I know your husband's help and love is a Godsend.
I also read about your growing up with horses. My sister has five horses (and several dogs) that she loves dearly, but she can't ride any more because of arthritis. Trying to get her to come visit me in Texas, but she can't leave them.
One of the medications I take for the nerves in my legs is Pramipexole, which is really for Parkinson's, but it helps me, tremendously. Do you have that? I'm sure you have what you need.

Yes, life I'm fortunate but through our battle together getting hold of our lives living with my disability our love has grown and blossomed this caring love that comes from the loving Spirit of God. I feel the love and appreciation for the loving support from your husband How blessed you are to have a man willing to assist you during illness. A lot of men just leave, when their woman gets sick. The photo is beautiful and the message is clear.
