This is a profound message, about your reliance on God to work out all things, and not take the matter into your own hands, even when wrong is done to you.
You write as though you are speaking to the reader, face to face in a very matter of fact way. The tone is conversational and easy to read.
Good job!

Thanks new friend. We always have that struggle between the world the flesh and the devil. Sometimes we blame even Satan for more than we should as our flesh can get in the way. Appreciate y9ur review have to look for some of your stuff have not seen you before. Thanks again.

So true about blaming Satan sometimes when it's just our flesh that gets in the way.
Blessings to you,

I have been with FS since Sept 2011, and I enjoy posting and reviewing. Will check out your work.
Wish I had more time to review and write. Although I'm retired, I seem to be as busy or more so even, than when I was working.
Blessings to you, Sankey.

This is another well written chapter that passes any edit eye that I have (which isn't that good)There's a lot of thief in America too. My victimization has been odd stuff.
Once I hooked up my hose with a brand new sprinkler and started watering the lawn. I realized I was out of milk so I jumped in my car and ran to the store, only 4 blocks away.
When I returned, my hose and sprinkler was gone.???
Another time, I mopped my floors and set the dirty mop and empty mop bucket on the back porch. The next day I thought I would wash it out and put it away but found in the night, someone stole my mop and mop bucket. That one never made any sense to me.lol

Crazy! I obviously mentioned us and all the neighbours having bits of our hoses taken we think it was druggies for bong manufacture or something? Thanks for going through this stuff not sure if you visited the Bliss Chapter recently I added qu8ite a bit and a Youtube file as well to that about us meeting and our marriage etc.

I certainly believe you have the right attitude about letting God lead and not getting overly upset about the minor things. I'm afraid I might have gone a little further with the Chris thing. You could sue. I don't think GOD would want us not to stand up for ourselves. I enjoyed reading your well-written essay.

Well would cost a lot more to sue Beth. Australia is not as a litigious society as America is sadly. Apparently it depends on his ability to repay as well. Seems the crims always win.

This is a nice walk down memory lane. I see it as a ramble with no particular destination, just a time to enjoy the journey. Walking with Jesus, as you know, is the only way to go ;)

It is not often we have the privilege of sharing such in depth personal experiences. It is very interesting to some of us in other parts of the world to learn you local terms for items like Skip Bins and Whipper snippers.

Hello, Geoff,
Looks like FS Editor has played games on you !... :) Still, you've done a great job. Good nice-sized paragraphs, makes the read nicely palatable and undaunting.
I love your philosophy on life as proclaimed in the title.
Until next time,
God be with you, my friend. :)
Sonali
We knew there (were) problems in the household
Another reason I know things were not ok next door(,) is the speed
As she did(,) she saw a ferocious fire burning in a
(')Skip' bin across
by the neighbour, (were) set alight by
some kind of incendiary device.
We had our suspi(c)ions (about) where the 'device' came
burned out skip contents (the) next morning.
One of those stories has been added in here,
(in) Chapter 21.

You have a natural story-telling voice. It sounds just as if you were talking to a friend or neighbor. Sounds very believable. That's quite a long time to live in one place. Interesting stories about your neighbors. I suppose many people have experiences with burglaries. We've been fortunate where we live. We live in a condo, and there is security that regularly patrols. Central air conditioning is a blessing. judi

It seems all neighborhoods have their ups and downs, its own ethos if you will. In these days, it's difficult to develop a culture in ways folks did prior to, I'd say the 80s. Most folks today want the biggest of whatever is out there, not necessarily the best. Expediency is often chosen over what is proper, and tends to overlook what they know to be wrong. It is only when we allow G-d in our lives to direct our path will we be able to get back to some form of stability. I enjoyed this common-sense chapter.

This piece was very well written in words that anyone can understand and relate to. It even had a bit of humor in it, such as: (Sometimes we wonder if we might have some sort of a 'smell' or something). I understand the costs related to housing. Whew! I can see that you are good neighbors to those people around you.
I enjoyed reading this piece. It was excellent my friend - keep them coming.
Always with respect,

This is a heart-warming story from the author in this piece of writing. You have poured your heart out to the world. They told us on our return from Iraq that the best way to deal with trauma was to talk about it. That's why I write. This helps a lot and I think God has this therapy made for you as well. Take care and God bless.
