Oh, I love how sweet this, and the swans. Beautiful. I am coming up 29 years, with the man/rock of my dreams. I hope I make it, got aggressive cancer but I will fight like those swans to not leave him behind. Best of luck to you beautiful writer.

This is a sweet, old-fashioned love story that hearteningly turns out well. Couple of grammar nitpicks: I see a couple of words that need apostrophes to show the possessive: Line 7 (OTHER'S) and line 8 (LOVE'S). A comma is needed for clarity in line 6 between "sight" and "hearts." Rhymes are well done and the tone of the poem is nice. Good luck, Jeanie Mercer

With just one kiss over five decades ago, life turned out to be a swan song of tender love.
How many are blessed with such a sweet and tender story of love gone right from the beginning?
All of us love sweet and light stories of love in life and this one being a a true story of sorts for many of us, does qualify to win this light and sweet contest.
It made us think simply about love and love is all we need to be sweet and light in our hearts!

I'm not quite sure how this fits in to the theme of light and sweet, but it is a very beautiful poem, and a wonderful account and tribute to a long lasting relationship, something that has become much less common in the present era.
