This is a wonderful nonet. I feel informed and entertained. The word choice is fantastic. You communicate your theme clearly.

Hi Carolyn,
This is a great poem for the Nonet Poetry Contest. I really like autumn but the pretty colors don't stick around long in my part of MN.

I am glad you liked this one. This fall in Missouri is incredible. It will last for at least three weeks. (I took a lot of pics yesterday, still trying to figure out how to attach to my poems). :-) Carolyn

Save the pictures on your desktop. You can copy them from there to use with your poetry.

I love how I come to those roads where the trees cover it and you can barely see the sky. It's beautiful. Great poem to desrcibe such a beautiful scene. ~ Rose

Excellent Nonet Carolyn, wonderful choice of words perfectly befitting for this time of year!
One note, did you realize that you didn't capitalize "Fall" in the title? Just making you aware, thought you might want to know.
Thanks for sharing this, it's really excellently done and the photo ideal!
All the best to you, warmly!

Hi Carolyn,
This was a beautiful nonet. I loved it! Fave line .... "entourage of brilliance" (I never would have thought to use the word "entourage" ... it is a brilliant choice of words on your part.) Excellent alliteration with "Royalties robe".
Here in Calgary we see mainly just yellows in the Fall. I miss seeing the vibrant Fall colours of Ontario where I grew up. It really can make for such a stunning display when all the leaves turn colour.
I really enjoyed this write, Carolyn. :)

Thank you Connie for such a wonderful review. I'm happy it brought found memories to you. Larry and I took a short road trip yesterday to shoot pics of the foliage. I got some great ones but 'dittzie' me, can't seem to get the hang of downloading them into FS. This is the closest I could find to the drive. It was fabulous. Have a grand day, Carolyn

You have a great day too, Carolyn, and know that you are not the only one who is tech-challenged! I couldn't download pics if my life depended on it. :(
Hugs,
Connie

Definitely enjoyed it. You have a pleasant way with your words expressing your feelings and thoughts. Honestly, you wouldn't need a picture with your poem, your words will draw it.
Nicely done Carolyn once again. John
P.S.- Go Cardinals!!!!

Doesn't autumn bring out the poet in us? Your nonet brings out the poetry in Autumn. I like the reference to lack of chlorophyll and royalty's robe.
