You are very welcome, have a nice day. I don't know what I'm listening to or why I can hear some times anything.
This is all new to me and my mind can't handle it all yet. LOL
Until next time.

VERY good. You make a strong point: the world often does not approve of those who try hard to do the RIGHT thing. But, those are SERIOUS about wanting to please God, WILL please Him!
Happy Holidays!!

I like the parallel construction of Be a little bit different... in each stanza
good use of enjambment to keep thoughts flowing from line to line
good use of illustrative examples
I like how the final line of each stanza rhymes with the line two above it
good social commentary :-) Brooke

Lovely poem Geoff, a little on the sad side, I think your right with your muse, the message comes from the heart, and is obviously is a deeply running current, beautifully worded work, exhorting us to go to church whether we are the virtual only attendees apart from the pastor and the organist, well done, well written, blessings,

Nice song lyrics. There are definitely risks involved in being different.I liked these lines best:
There may be another who's
really counting on you.
So be a good disciple
In all you do
well done!

I agree with ya, Sankey, especially about getting to church early. Sometimes the sound guy or even the pastor himself might ask you to help out with something. Be prepared to lend a helping hand.
The music never popped up for me, perhaps it's just my internet connection. The play was visible, but no arrows appeared on it to play the music. It just said "Background Music", but no "play" arrow.
I suppose I'm gonna' have to miss out on that.
Good work, be different! Keep up the great work. :}

Thanks Dean are you on PC or mac/Apple? I recommend Windows media player I have been sent a link to get a Media player working on Google Chrome browser which I mostly use now. I could send you a link to the tune I wrote on Encore if you want. Actually do I have an e-mail for you? I will see how large the Midi file is could e-mail it as an attachment. Hope you read the other stuff in the book mate. I was the Chief Musician for at least 16 years. Thanks

Be a little bit different - is a good enough ad for any sedan. I like that slow chugging of your song, that's how I felt it. A bit of humor and a preacher. (Just to mention - a couple of typos at - TO IMPORTANT, ANOTHER WHOSE REALLY CONTING ON YOU). Just in case, you feel it's important.

Thanks friend this has been a round over a year and still getting spags picked up! I really appreciate ya. I think I mentioned it was the tune of the Toyota Lexcen pretty soon after the America's Cup I think. I did write or phone Toyota for permission to use the song tune but they never found where it was written or whatever. Hope you heard the tune.
-
Appreciate the pickups have now corrected them. It always amazes me with all the reviews and stuff how a couple of small misses can go for so long without being discovered. Thanks heaps.

My friend, I'm not sure what happened here. I wrote you a small, favorable review and it disappeared on me. I hope you got it. I enjoyed this piece very much, my friend.
Always with respect,

have you been through before? I am now putting the complete book of poems, Compositions, Essays (same ha) songs and so on up for review. It is possible if you reviewed this a log time ago that maybe what you are thinking of. A lot of these were stand alones originally. Thanks anyway in case I missed it. Will have a look back thought the history.

Very touching. How the world sees and treats a person who is a little different- has been well expressed in this poem. The opening lines "Be a little different/ and no one talks to you" speak volumes about the agony of a differently abled person.
An extremely well written piece, expressing what such a person goes through because of our apathy towards them.
This is an eye opener for all of us who are so called normal

Comment from dvega2011
This poem contains a good moral informing the readers to stay true to who you are. Be yourself. Some people may be patient, and others may be in a rush. Whether patient or vein, it's irrelevant to try and change the person you are. The main thing is to work on your character and try and be a better you. Work on things that you think need adjustments, and be the best you can be so even if you're last in line, people notice you and good things come your way.
