"with an ever-changing shape, a truly piece of heaven." - This is a wonderfully expressive description of the mountains and your reverence and passion for them shine through stunningly in every word. I love the last line as in a way it describes life - majestically wondrous but ever changing. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.

Hi Mary,
if you keep writing this way you are going to get a job writing for the Irish department of tourism... I know my mouth is watering at the thought of the imagery you have painted... You have sold me on this beautiful country of yours... Watch out, there's a heap of tourists headed your way... And I might just be one of them!... Beautifully penned.
Kindest thoughts,
James xx

Well I was talked into this one by a comment, but I have a few more counties that I could write poems about. I will think about it. Thanks for the review and generous comments. Mary

This was really great work. The imagery is powerful and vivid, the metaphors were strong and help paint an elegant picture which is only further accentuated by the lovely illustration. I really love your prose, and that you didn't make the common mistake I've seen all morning of capitalizing every line. Really fantastic poem.

Beautifully written. As the reader I felt like I could sense a feeling of being there. The descriptive word choices bring the reader in close. The font was easy ont the eyes and so was the picture.

Hello
It is again a beautiful poem, just like your previous write.
It seems you have got totally fascinated by the beauty in Ireland.
The couplets are rhyming really well and it has good rhythm.
It is like a beautiful ode and it has vivid concrete imagery.
I liked fifth couplet the most where you describe the morning beauty there.
It is an amazing work.
Regards:-)

I like the way you referred to Donegal. She is really beautiful.
Great job.
"Donegal, it's your vast landscape I love the most
amazed by the narrow roads that run along the jagged coast
the jarred granite rocks that nature has chiselled with love,
wallowing under a cobalt and white sky up above" my best part.
