This is such a spiritually empowering piece. The construction and execution are perfection. You inspire the reader to take heart and believe and in that all things are possible. I especially felt grace speaking in this verse:"At journey's end when thou must leave
For mansions fair, thine to achieve
A crown of life, thou wilt receive
Because, thy soul, dared to believe"
Wonderful and uplifting poetic work of praise.

this was a pretty good spiritual poem. the flow of it was kinda on and off, but the words and the topic were very relevant and needed. I am just now posting my stuff on line and am receiving feedback as well. I think in some situations, u have to use more words to fill in the syllable count so it can flow even smoother. all in all, good poem. good bless

It is an enjoyable poem and very heartfelt - that is obvious.. But there a couple of little things that editing could help with. You don't need the apostrophe in the word 'souls', and also I'm not sure about using 'thy' and 'thine'. I don't know if one or the other is better.

Thank you for the through comments. Souls' is for possessive, thy and thine are just old English choices of verbiage. I appreciate you, :-) Carolyn
-
Yes but in souls' they aren't possessing anything in this case. I know the thy and thine, just thought one or the other rather than both would read better. Thanks for getting back to me. rhonny

I corrected the souls, you were right. Thank you so much. My best to you, Carolyn

Its a pleasure.

Your poem on "He Will" is simply beautiful and full of God's grace and mercy. If only we realized at times "He Will" always be there for us when we reach out to Him for our strength, help, hope and especially His love. This is so, well written I thought it deserved a five. I only noticed one small mistake 1st Stanza, 4th line on "He'll soothes away thy bitterness" or maybe "He soothes away thy bitterness" But other than that it is excellent. Great Job!

Carolyn this is really awesome especially with the mono-rhyme. I have always enjoyed mono-rhyming for it somehow brings more to a write. Awesome girlie.

Carolyn,
Your poem is absolutely beautiful. I always write my poetry from my heart too. The picture with the bible verse on it is wonderful too.
Blessings, Kat
