Ah, Sharyn. I've been catching up on reviewing this morning, and it's been a see-saw of laughter and tears. This is so sad, yet beautiful and positive in its sentiment.
'hush now, sweet, your work's all done.'
That just touches me so deeply. I see that she has since passed. My condolences. She's gone, I am sure, to the new beginning you mention.

Such a sweet and lovely poem to Rose. I'm sure she is now smiling at you singer her own songs in heaven. She was 95! Amazing :-) I think you did a fantastic job on this poem. It almost flowed like a song.

This poem is a great tribute to who sounds like a wonderful woman. You both seemed ready for the next phase and made it a beautiful thing, though she will be missed. Dying peacefully is how I hope to go or get hit by a truck when I wasn't even looking.

This is beautiful Farewell Poetry. The rhymes are used
perfectly and the emotions are sincere. This poetry
tugs at the heart. The attached photo is a nice accent
that enhances the message. Thank You for your creation.

Beautiful song. "Love stays strong like oceans roll" and the tide will carry her gently out. Years in circles/seasons spinning and now peeled from the circle, a spiral to begin a new cycle. I am sorry for your loss. It sounds like she had a full life and went out peacefully.

A very lovely write to your mother-in-law and comforting words if she was experiencing anxieties about moving on in spirit. I enjoyed the read and think it was very sweet of you. Thanks for sharing. Your friend, Bob

Bless you, Bob - yes, Rose left us this morning and I'm so glad - I really didn't want her to linger more. It was definitely her 'time' - I knew that a couple of months ago. She was definitely a 'character' and will be missed.
Blessings,
Sharyn

Beautiful, Twinnie. I guessed, as soon as I started reading, who you were writing about; and felt privileged to have been privy to that information.
Thought about you early this morning and wondered how she was doing.
My condolences are with your family.
Such a deep, lulling tenderness in your lines .....

I'm so glad she's finally gone - these last few weeks have been agonizing for her and for my husband especially. I've not been 'close' with her, but always respected her as a distinct 'character' who will definitely be missed. She had a sometimes difficult, but overall GOOD life - one can't be too sad about that, hmm? Thx my dear! :)S

Very tender and moving poem expressed from the heart. I was in coma twice, and I am sure she heard your song. I am deeply sorry for your loss,
but fortunately had a peaceful death. Big hug ... Pili

Yes , I deal with it for five years. Is six months now without chemotherapy, so grateful for that . I told you about the coma because I remember conversations , cannot respond in any way , but can hear. Hugs. Pili
