What a charming poem! I smiled all the through while reading it. Your rhyming is perfect, and I don't see that too often. I couldn't get a grip on your meter, it seemed to vary from line to line, verse to verse. But the idea was wonderful, and that's what's really important.

This is a cute little poem. It made me chuckle. I thought the rhyme seemed a little off in the middle of the middle stanza. Maybe cause be an me rhyme and then theirs the word tonight, or maybe that "tonight line" seems longer then the ones surrounding it. I don't know, just my opinion, but a good humorous piece.

I really like this read. It tells a great story and reads so well. Love the way it flowed. I felt like I was almost reading a fable with a great message in the end. Nicely written and that you for such an enjoyable read.

I guess the message just sort of snuck into this. It wasn't planned. I suppose we all know someone who could have been turned into a gnome for this poem. Thanks for the great review.
